John Legend has been tapped to host TED Talks Education, an upcoming PBS special addressing the high school drop-out crisis. The one-hour broadcast, produced in part by the non-profit group TED, will feature a panel of experts, creative thinkers and entertainers, including Bill Gates.
In addition to making music, John has long been an advocate for education reforms in the United States. He founded the non-profit organization The Show Me Campaign, which works to stamp out poverty by ensuring better education for everyone.
TED Talks Education premieres Tuesday, May 7, on PBS. Check your local listings for what time it airs in your area.
